“This kind of competition allows kids to show off their skills, besides playing a role in building a strong mentality, they learn to play while enjoying the competition,” noted renowned pastry chef and judge Samson Tulu.

Ms. Martha Asefa, whose three children competed, said, “This kind of competition helps to develop creative skills and children can learn while having fun.”
Fifth-grader Milona Tewodros of Cambridge Academy took part in the competition. She said that the tournament helps students strengthen their skills in addition to being pleasant.

There were seventy percent female contestants.
The tournament, which was divided into divisions for teenagers and children, awarded contestants from one to 10.
The top two prize winners took home 1.5 kg of white chocolate in the shape of Santa Claus, the second prize winners took home 400 grammes of black chocolate fashioned like Christmas trees, and the third through tenth place finishers received a variety of chocolates and cakes .

The grand inauguration of the Stay Easy Plus Gingerbread House competition, which is expected to receive five stars, drew more than 200 children and parents. Prize-winning competitions, music, Zumba dancing, and a range of games were held.
The hotel “Emma Bakery,” which just opened, bakes and sells bread, cakes, and snacks to the surrounding community.

The Stay Easy Plus Hotel was formally opened in May 2023, having taken more than 1.5 billion Birr to complete.
The hotel can accommodate banquets, weddings, exhibitions of fine and performing arts, and other events. It has 103 rooms, including two suites.
This hotel’s three bars and one dining room have created over 250 jobs.
