A 35-year-old woman, Bedria Adem, successfully delivered quintuplets at Haramaya University’s Hiwot Fana Hospital on Wednesday night, ending a twelve-year journey of infertility. The resident of Sofi District in the Harari Region welcomed four boys and one girl, an event that has captured local attention due to its rarity and the family’s long wait for children.
The medical team, led by Dr. Obsa Hassan, confirmed that the delivery was successful and that the mother is currently in stable condition.
