Zagol Systems Names Renowned Actor Alemayehu Tadesse as Brand Ambassador

Zagol Systems Trading, a prominent provider of integrated digital travel solutions, has officially appointed celebrated Ethiopian actor Alemayehu Tadesse as its new brand ambassador. The corporate announcement highlights the technology company’s strategy to leverage high-profile public figures to expand its market reach across the region. Under this new partnership, the acclaimed performer will represent the platform’s suite of digital travel offerings, which streamline booking procedures for domestic and international travelers.

Founded in 2021, Zagol Systems has established a notable presence within Ethiopia’s emerging digital economy by consolidating air ticketing, hotel reservations, and tour packages into a unified digital platform. According to company figures, the enterprise has captured a 60 percent market share and currently serves over 250,000 registered customers. Company executives emphasize that their integrated digital model aims to meet the growing demand for streamlined booking services in Addis Ababa, which serves as the world’s third-largest diplomatic hub.

Alemayehu Tadesse brings extensive public recognition to the role, having earned widespread acclaim for his performances in popular theatrical productions such as “Babylon in the Living Room” and the hit drama series “Besintu.” Beyond his artistic career, Alemayehu serves as a goodwill ambassador for SOS Children’s Villages Ethiopia. Speaking on his appointment, the artist stated that he is an active user of the Zagol travel application, expressed confidence in the platform’s utility, and committed to effectively promoting its digital services to the public.

Zagol Systems Chief Executive Officer Yared Nigussie stated that the collaboration represents a strategic move to accelerate the enterprise’s growth trajectory. Executive leadership anticipates that the actor’s strong public trust and cultural influence will substantially elevate the company’s brand visibility and drive broader adoption of digital travel technologies. The partnership comes as local technology firms increasingly seek to digitize traditional service sectors to accommodate expanding diplomatic and commercial visitor flows.

The partnership agreement underscores an increasing trend among technology companies in East Africa to collaborate with established creative figures to deepen consumer engagement and strengthen market positioning.
