The Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in collaboration with alelamultimedia, proudly concluded the Whispers of Earth Arts Contest with a memorable award ceremony and art exhibition, featuring outstanding artistic contributions to environmental awareness. The evening also commemorated Azerbaijan’s Victory Day, marking the third anniversary of Azerbaijan reclaiming its rightful Karabakhterritory following the 44-day war, creating a dual celebration of environmental advocacy and national pride.
Held at the Embassy’s venue in Addis Ababa, the event gathered diplomats, environmental advocates, artists, media personalities, and distinguished guests, united by their dedication to climate action and cultural solidarity. Ambassador Ruslan Nasibov remarked on the significance of the dual celebration, “Tonight we honor not only creative expressions of environmental stewardship but also a day of profound importance for Azerbaijan. Our nation’s resilience mirrors the commitment needed in addressing global climate challenges.”
