5G mobile network service is officially launched by Ethiopian Telecom in the cities of Wolaita Sodo, Hosaena, and Arba Minch

Ethiopian Telecom formally announces the launch of the fifth generation mobile network service after completing network site installations in a number of locations across the company’s South-Southwest Region, including the cities of Wolaita Sodo, Hosaena, and Arba Minch and their surrounding areas.

According to the telco, customers in the specified areas can access fixed services using a 5G-compatible router or mobile services using a 5G-ready smartphone or tablet.
