Two construction workers perished in Addis Abeba city’s district 4’s Gulele sub-district when the earth they were removing for a building burst, according to the Fire and Disaster Risk Management Commission.
The incident allegedly took place today at 2:59 pm in the village known as “Menen Sefer,” according to the commission.
The commission claims that the Addis Ababa Roads Authority and the security forces helped the emergency team of the commission recover the deceased’s remains.
In view of the frequent occurrence of comparable calamities in the nation’s capital, the panel advised businesses and employees to adhere to the fundamental safety laws.
