The Moha soft drink factory located in Mekele city of Tigray region has announced that it has resumed operations after two years of ceasing production.
The soft drink factory’s marketing director, Ato Mulenehe Fole, reported this week that production has resumed following the signing and implementation of the peace agreement.
All former employees at the branch have resumed their jobs, claims Ato Mdolneh. Since last Monday, more than 4% of the workforce has started working again.
He continued by saying that a study on the losses the institute suffered during the years it stopped operating will be done and announced in the future. According to the marketing director, the peace process will enable people who have been without a job and a paycheck for the past two years to resume their regular lives.
