The armed group known as the “Oromo Liberation Front and Oromo Liberation Army” announced in a statement that they are ready to resolve the war in the Oromia region through negotiations.

The group stated in a civilized speech that any call for a resolution to the ongoing war in the Oromia region is good news.

In order to pursue or negotiate an effective peace option, the proposed peace call stipulated that the peace process be overseen by an independent third party.

It stated that the group’s commanders and negotiators must go out and enter conflict zones in order to create a meaningful peace process.

According to the group, the necessary security guarantees and logistics can only be obtained at the international level.
