Yango Ethiopia asserts that by holding engagement and reward events under the “Yango Cares” Initiative, driver engagement is rising

Yango Ethiopia, a branch of the global technology corporation Yango Group, organised several driver rewards events in Addis Ababa as part of its “Yango Cares” campaign to recognise and support high-achieving drivers. According to the company, the initiative, which will continue to operate on a monthly basis, aims to increase partner drivers’ engagement by providing exclusive benefits designed to support and improve drivers’ daily lives.

The company claims that the “YangoCares” program has helped top-performing partner drivers who have completed the most trips and had the highest acceptance rates by giving them useful incentives like fuel vouchers, extra tires, and other essential benefits. These rewards are meant to recognise their contributions while giving them the tools and motivation they require to perform at their highest level. As part of this endeavour, Yango Ethiopia’s Country Manager, Dr. Yekenalem Abebe, has begun to host weekly meetings where partner drivers can network over a fully sponsored lunch.

They can discuss market trends, stay current on service improvements, and receive enlightening guidance on how to boost their profits at these meetings. These gatherings not only facilitate information sharing but also foster a strong sense of community and provide a direct channel of communication for involvement. “We are aware of how important Yango’s partner drivers are to its success. The country manager for Yango Ethiopia, Dr. Yekenalem Abebe, stated, “This initiative is our way of thanking them for their hard work and dedication to developing Ethiopia’s transport industry.” The Drivers Rewards Events seek to not only motivate our partners’ drivers but also simplify their everyday tasks by providing valuable incentives that reduce their costs.

“This program has motivated me to improve my service and make more trips,” said one recent reward winner. “Seeing Yango acknowledge our efforts and provide us with incentives that significantly affect our day-to-day operations is incredibly motivating.” Since its launch, a large number of drivers have participated in the “YangoCares” campaign, and more are expected to join in the months ahead.

The global software firm Yango Group has its main office in Dubai.According to the company, it is converting technology that are sourced globally into commonplace services that are customised for local communities.

Several digital city services are available in more than 20 countries in Africa, Latin America, Europe, and the Middle East through Yango’s multipurpose app.
