“Hamas brutally murdered civilians, including children, after infiltrating Israel. There were more than fifteen thousand missiles fired at Israel. We are fighting to make sure that Hamas never threatens us again.

The ambassador was questioned by journalists about why his administration had not resolved the dispute involving the Deir Al-Sultan monastery between Egyptian and Orthodox monks. “On the monastery issue, what can I say is Ethiopian government should bring the matter to Israel government to resolve the monastery dispute issue but also repaint some of the religious sites which are being used by Ethiopian Orthodox Tewhado church,” said the ambassador.
The ambassador was also questioned by journalists about why his nation hadn’t established a museum in Addis to highlight the historical and cultural connections between the two countries.
The ambassador said he has been in contact with the Addis Ababa administration on the prospect of building a museum, and they are now awaiting a response.
