The Ethiopian government and Shene will begin negotiations in Tanzania on Tuesday, according to the PM

The “Stop War, Let’s Consolidate Peace” thanksgiving and recognition programme took place at Friendship Square today, and this was said.

At Friendship Square, a ceremony honouring those who made significant contributions to the conflict in Ethiopia’s northern region took place.

The African Union Commission Chairman Musa Faki Mahmet, chiefs of the regions, elders, religious leaders, senior artists, and other invited guests attended the programme along with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and First Lady Znash Thaye.

Speaking at the same event, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed said that talking for 20 years is preferable to fighting for two.

He exhorted the whole of Ethiopians to thank the creator for bringing about this day.

On the other hand, according to Prime Minister Abiy, a group from the Prosperity Party would visit Mekele the next week under the leadership of its vice president.

According to the prime minister, the group will be made up of the presidents of each state.

According to Prime Minister Abiy, Ethiopia is also getting ready to assist Sudan.
