Co-organized by the Ethiopian Diaspora Association, African Eagle Multimedia, New Horizons for Africa, and the ministry of Foreign Affairs, the event will have as its theme “Black Excellence .”
According to organizers, Black History Month, which starts on February 1, will highlight 28 black women who have acted as role models for both black people and others.
Women who have shown the world black sovereignty will be honored throughout the month, including Ethiopia Habtemariam, Oprah Winfrey, and Michelle Obama.

Women with distinguished carrere in health music, and other fields are among the visitors.
Twenty-five Black Americans, including doctors, scientists, professors, and other prominent figures, will be traveling to Ethiopia.
Along with Zoom conversations on Pan-Africanism, Black empowerment, and African unity with black leaders from around the globe, they will go to places that have influenced Ethiopia’s Black freedom.
Because of its fight for Black emancipation, Ethiopia was selected to honor the month.
According to the organizers, this initiative will continue annually and will benefit both national development and diplomacy.
Black History Month has been observed by Black African Americans for over 50 years, according to data.
