The prize is a portion of the scholarship program known as the “China Ethiopia Friendship Scholarship,” which was started five years ago.
The educational opportunity was provided to undergraduate and graduate students at Addis Abeba University.
According to this, study funds were given to six third-year students, 18 Chinese language students, 12 Addis Ababa University information technology students, 80 first-year students, and project scholarships were given to 80 first-year students.
The cost of the offered educational opportunity, 2.19 million birr, is also mentioned.
The Chinese government will continue to increase its cooperation with Ethiopia in the fields of research and education, according to ENA.
At the ceremony at Addis Abeba University, the university’s president, Taswe Woldhana (Prof.), urged the fortunate students to continue their education in order to better both themselves and their nation.
