According to BBC Amharic, the Ethiopian embassy in Sudan’s capital, Khartoum, was attacked with strong weapons.
The embassy building and other property were damaged by the heavy weapon attack, although no one was reportedly hurt.

The force quickly held General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and his opposing Sudanese army accountable. In the embassy attack, “the building sustained extensive damage.” He said.
The reason behind the embassy attack is unknown. Both the Ethiopian government and General Alburhan’s army have kept silent about the incident.
The envoy asserted that in addition to the Ethiopian mission, this morning also saw attacks on the embassies of the United Arab Emirates, Russia, and South Africa.
When unrest in Sudan erupted, several embassies left, including the Ethiopian embassy in Khartoum. The Ethiopian embassy has reportedly moved to the Gedarif consulate, where it is presently operating diplomatically.
