OLA Energy debuts their new brand colour in Ethiopia

Ola Energy, formerly known as Oil Libya, unveiled its new logo at a gathering held at the Addis Abeba Skylight Hotel today .

The logo’s primary colours are orange, white, and blue.

According to officials speaking about the new visual identity, the new insignia is a stylized representation of Africa, the “continent that shapes the identity of the group.” “The hues orange and blue stand for vitality and life, and the north-south white line represents the routes we take to convey our passengers on a daily basis. One claims that the white background highlights the clarity and quality once more.

The new retail visual identity reflects the Group’s guiding vision to be Africa’s downstream marketer of choice, shaping African energy and empowering African born prosperity. Above all, it encapsulates the spirit of what is a truly African business delivering the highest international quality standards; a brand created and driven by Africans, for Africans.

The new brand was implemented in 13 countries: Niger, Mali, Gabon, Reunion Island, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Côte d’ivoire, Egypt, Kenya, Uganda Morocco, Senegal, and Tunisia. This was followed by a phased rollout throughout the Group’s entire pan-African network, bringing a fresh, modern look to the over 1300 stations in the company’s 17 countries of operation.

“Our teams are committed to working together as one to deliver on the promise of our new brand; by ensuring that our customers always come first, we will offer a standard of excellence in our products and services that distinguishes us from the crowd and befits the vitality of this magnificent continent.” said the GM.

The orange-blue color scheme reflects both the energy and vitality of the business, as well as the high-quality standards of the brand. It promises a multitude of refreshing, customer- oriented products and services offered at its service stations. The new brand is also symbolic of OLA Energy’s expanding market offering as a modern pan-African energy retailer that seeks to cater to the rapidly changing demands of African consumers,

“OLA Energy pays homage to our proud heritage – the new name is abbreviated from ‘OiLibya Africa’ – whilst also marking a bold step toward our future; we are set to introduce a new range of fresh retail experiences to our customers, in keeping with our mission to deliver the highest quality services to every visitor to our service stations across the continent.” said the GM.
