The leaders of the Group of Seven formally requested the People’s Liberation Front of Tigray (TPLF) and the Ethiopian government to fully follow the ceasefire agreement reached in South Africa. The presidents of the seven industrialised countries issued a statement on Saturday in which they expressed gratitude for “the positive changes that have been achieved” since the Pretoria peace agreement was signed in 2015.
