Four individuals were seized by the Addis Abeba Police after they were spotted soliciting donations while posing as patients underneath an empty mattress.
The Addis Abeba police claim that four suspects allegedly put an empty mattress inside a minibus with the licence plate 3-43018 AA, pretended to be a patient there with kidney disease, printed individual photos on a banner and hung it from a speaker, and requested donations from the public under the guise of paying for medical expenses. They could make purchases.
