The World Tourism Organization has chosen Choke Mountain Eco Tourism Development in Gojam as the Best Tourism Village.
In Alula, Saudi Arabia, the award was accepted by Chuke Mulu Eco Lodge representatives and Mr. Selshi Girma, the minister of tourism.
More than 50 nations and more than 100 travel destinations participated in the competition, including Ethiopia.
It is also known that Lencho Bati, Ethiopia’s plenipotentiary ambassador to Saudi Arabia, was present.
