A few inmates in Addis Abeba’s Kaliti jail attempted to escape on Wednesday night. Witnesses and villagers told “Ethiopia Insider” that although one prisoner had been slain, at least five others had been hurt and one was missing. The Federal Prison Commission confirmed that there was an attempt to flee the Kaliti Correctional Centre to “Ethiopia Insider,” but that no escape really took place.
