Hirute Bekele, a formerly popular vocalist who later performed evangelical music, died at the age of 80

.She was well-known for her timeless music and many Ethiopians liked her songs.

Hirut Bekele, a singer known for her work on “Life is Like Clay” and other lovely songs, passed away today, May 12, 2023, while seeking medical attention for her sickness both domestically and overseas.

Hirut Bekele, who enthralled fans  with magnificent musical works from the late  1950s until the early  1990s, is recognised for working most recently as a singer/minister.

Hirut Bekele was the great-grandmother of seven children, the grandmother of ten, and the mother of seven.

Hirut Bekele was one of the few notable female vocalists Ethiopia produced between the early 1950s and the late 1980s.

Her incredibly well-liked by the general public transcendental music is where many female vocalists get their start.

“Ethiopia” is one of Hirut’s Ayale songs, and it is still performed by youngsters and adults with patriotic feelings even now.

Hirut spent 35 years working for the police department’s music and theatre division.

She performed more than 200 pieces of music for the public over the course of 35 years, more than 38 of which were printed on clay.

She has contributed 14 cassette albums with ten tracks apiece at the cassette level.
