According to the health ministry, an integrated measles vaccine is being administered to the Tigray region.
The Tigray area, according to Melkamu Ayalew, director of the Ministry’s Maternal and Child Immunization Desk, has received enough measles vaccine to finish the region’s vaccination campaign.
According to him, the vaccination has been distributed throughout the region since March 18, 2015. The World Health Organization and UNICEF are responsible for managing the immunisation programmes.
In the 12-day vaccination programme, it has been announced that more than 831,000 kids would be reached.
