According to Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, 273 students who excelled on the 12th class exit exam received full scholarships from the government of the United Arab Emirates.
The students were urged by the prime minister to travel to Africa and Ethiopia to attend the best universities there. He cautioned the students to put their all into their studies while never losing sight of their country.
He congratulated the students and added, “We are happy that 273 students who will help Ethiopia were able to do the exam properly.
In his message to the students, the Prime Minister urged each student to pursue knowledge and work to better the country. Particularly a student who defends the truth today will change the country tomorrow.
